Handcuffs off creativity

One of the reasons I started making games was to recreate the escapism of my favorite movies. A place where I could lose myself and it didn't have to end. It was always a fantasy to direct a movie and maybe I still will one day but now I'm more excited to see how far games will go. Games don't replace the space that movies occupy for me but give me something new. Now digital download and great cheap tools are making development accessible for all. The creativity will flow more free now we aren't restricted by the rules of retail. This is a great time to be in games.
